Dear all, welcome to the college of Business and Economics of Wollega University. The College of Business and Economics (CoBE), which was established in 1999, is dedicated to produce competent and ethical graduates in the fields of business and economics. The college community are working together to achieve the vision and mission of the college. We aspire to be the best Business College, committed to excellence, with a passion for creating knowledge and educating students to be leaders for a better tomorrow.

Dear students, we warmly welcome you to join us in our endeavor to produce competent graduates in various business and economics disciplines.

To fulfill the interest of our graduates and the surrounding society to pursue further education at postgraduate level, the college has launched masters’ programs in tenfields of specialization and two PhD programs. We workto equip our students with the appropriate skills to effectively function in the changing business environment through student centered teaching coupled with practical activities.Our programs produce graduates not only that are highly marketable in public and private sector, but also graduates with entrepreneurial drive to start their own businesseswant you to establish strong attachment with us. The comments and feedback you may provide are instrumental for our improvement. The college appreciates any feedback related to the overall and/or specific activities.

Dear CoBE staff, in order to smoothly run our teaching and learning, research and community services, the commitment of our qualified and capable academic and administrative staff is instrumental. Our staff members are competent and ready to give a life changing education and training experience. Thus, we are committed to establishing a college environment that allows our students to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.

Besides, we warmly welcome our potentialpartners to comment and support us in our effort towards producing competent graduates who contribute their level best to economic development and nations building, provision of quality training, research and community service to our society.
