This interface is intended to keep our College's research and academic programs responsive to industry needs and relevant to national development goals.

Vision

Our vision is genuine partnerships to build networks and relationships and improve communication between different sectors of society to connect the College to industries as a means of enriching the university's curricula, promoting research and technologies and as a result advancing the living standard of the society.

Dean's Message

Welcome to the official web site of College of Natural and Computational Sciences

College of Natural and Computational Science was established in 2007 and restructured into different departments during the implementation of business reengineering process (BPR)。The college currently running out its duties and responsibilities with eight departments, namely, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental science, Earth science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Sport studies

The college constantly purses standard excellence in teaching, research and community services by working in close collaboration with institutions in the country, plan to work with overseas and most important with stockholders in order to remain the response to the ever changing needs of the society.

The college strives to make every effort in making a place where students enrolled in degree programs offered by the college can utilize available resources provided in fulfilling their dreams. A place which serves students by providing opportunities for training different issues which help them in exploring more opportunities for future development and growth. And it will continue to align its mission more innovative in exploring future development opportunities and provide better service to its constituencies.

About CNCS

The college of Natural and Computational Sciences as one academic unit of the university was established in 2012 following the re-structuring held in the university, combing the former faculty of Natural science, faculty of computational sciences, the faculty of Environmental and Earth sciences. However, it started its teaching-learning in January, 2007 with admission of 102 regular students in to two programs (biology and mathematics).

The college is committed to giving students at all levels excellent exposition in scientific thinking and high level of foundation of science that will shape and direct their future career.

Currently, the college has nine departments namely: Biology Department, Chemistry department, Physics Department, Environmental science Department, Earth Science Department, Statistics Department, Computational Science Department, Sport Studies Department and Library Science Departments that has undergraduate and post graduate programs.

Vision

The college of Natural and computational sciences seeks an excellence in teaching, scholarly productivity, and professional and community services.

Mission

To produce competent and innovative professionals in various disciplines through practical leaning who are prepared to increase understanding of the natural world and applied to science with in a society and to be productive and successful in their future career.
