As part of its summer voluntary community service program, Wollega University Institute of Technology (WIT) provided the building design and technical documentation for Bonaya Boshe Court following a request for professional assistance.The multidisciplinary team included Mr. Dinka Mamo and Mr. Olyad Gudeta (Architecture), Mr. Temesgen Tesfa (Civil Engineering), Mr. Motuma Shiferaw (Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering), and Mr. Terefe Bayisa and Mr. Gemeda (Electrical and Computer Engineering). The team prepared the architectural, structural, sanitary, and electrical designs, along with the relevant technical specifications.During the handover ceremony, a representative of Bonaya Boshe Court expressed appreciation to WIT and its staff for their valuable professional support. The Scientific Director of WIT also commended the participating staff for their commitment and contribution to community development.This initiative demonstrates WIT’s commitment to community engagement, knowledge transfer, and applying academic expertise to address local development needs.
