Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed today between Wollega University (WU). represented by Dr. Tesfaye Lemma (president) and EagleEye Cybersecurity Solutions, represented by Eng. Mulugeta Negero, facilitated by the Ethiopian Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing cybersecurity education, research, and innovation, aligning with national priorities in supporting Ethiopia’s digital economy initiatives.
Through signed MoU the partners will aimed to achieve goals in
* Short-term: Facilitating scientific collaboration through specialized training programs to enhance expertise in cybersecurity.
* Mid-term: Developing comprehensive academic programs in cybersecurity to cultivate a skilled workforce.
* Long-term: Establishing Wollega University as a premier center of excellence in cybersecurity, driving innovation and leadership in the field.
