About the Department of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineers

The major objective of the department is to produce highly competent and skilled Hydraulic and water resources Engineers.

At present the department is offering general degree program in Hydraulic and water resources Engineering (B.sc program) for regular only.

Mission:

Hydraulic and Water Resource Engineering program has a mission of offering  pertinent and quality education and training; conducting demand driven research and rendering accessible community services.

Vision:

Hydraulic and water resources Engineering program desires to be a program of excellence in   Africa producing competent citizens and high-level Hydraulic and water resources Engineer  professionals and researchers that could play a critical role in the design ,construction of hydraulic  structures , generate new knowledge and acclimatize relevant knowledge to national development.
