Newly Appointed Board Chair Dr. Keyradin Tezera Meets with Wollega University Top Management

 

dr kd1The newly appointed Wollega University Administrative Board Chairperson, Dr. Keyradin Tezera, held his first official consultative meeting with the University's top management and fellow board members.

Dr. Keyradin, who also serves as State Minister at the Ministry of Peace, engaged in discussions with the University leadership on key strategic priorities, institutional challenges, and opportunities for growth. The meeting focused on strengthening governance, enhancing academic excellence, improving institutional performance, and aligning the University’s development agenda with national higher education priorities.

During the consultation, university leaders presented the institution’s current achievements, ongoing initiatives, and pressing needs requiring the attention and support of the Administrative Board. Board members and management also exchanged views on future directions aimed at advancing Wollega University’s transformation as an applied science university and expanding its contribution to community development, research, innovation, and industry engagement.

Dr. Keyradin reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to supporting the University’s strategic objectives and emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership, accountability, and stakeholder engagement in achieving sustainable institutional progress.
