Application team

The Application team plays a key role in the lifecycle management of the university's software applications and is responsible for designing and developing new applications, analyzing and improving existing applications, administering and supporting critical university applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new software applications and enhancements based on user requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and

         Application Analysis:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements for
  • Create process flows, use cases, and other relevant
  • Collaborate with developers and users to ensure applications meet business
  • Participate in testing and validation of
  • Identify opportunities for application improvement and

Application Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain university software
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within
  • Monitor application performance and
  • Perform regular application maintenance tasks, including patching and
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related
  • Develop and maintain application

         General Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for application-related
  • Participate in application testing and quality assurance
