Teaching, learning and technology team

The TTL team plays a key role in supporting and enhancing teaching and learning through the effective integration of technology at the university. This position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to design, develop, implement, and support innovative pedagogical approaches and the use of learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

        Instructional Design and Course Development:

o    Collaborate with faculty to design and develop engaging and effective online, blended, and face-to-face courses.

o    Apply pedagogical principles and instructional design models to course development.

o    Design accessible and inclusive learning experiences.

o    Provide guidance on effective teaching strategies and the use of technology to enhance learning outcomes.

         Learning Technology Support and Training:

o    Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students on the use of the university's learning management system (LMS) and other educational technologies.

o    Develop and deliver training workshops, tutorials, and resources on various learning technologies.

o    Evaluate and recommend new learning technologies to meet the evolving needs of the university.

o    Troubleshoot technical issues related to learning technologies.

         Multimedia Development and Production:

o    Create and edit multimedia content for online courses and learning resources

o    Provide guidance and support to faculty in the creation of their own multimedia materials.

o    Ensure accessibility and quality of multimedia content.

         Faculty Development and Support:

o    Develop and deliver training and programs on effective teaching with technology.

o    Provide consultations to faculty on technological integration.

o    Stay current with research and best practices in teaching and learning with technology.

         TTL infrastructure service monitoring:

o    Smart class, video conference and multimedia studio monitoring

o    Computer laboratories monitoring

         Evaluation and Assessment:

o    Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of learning technologies and pedagogical approaches.

o    Gather feedback from faculty and students to inform the improvement of services and resources.

         E-learning

o    supports e-learning through technology integration

o    digital content development

o    Training, quality assurance, and research into e-learning methodologies
