The Continuing and Distance Education Program Office of the University endeavors to become the principal Distance, Weekend, summer, and Evening Education learning center in serving the citizens of the local Community in particular and the country in general.

Mission

Mission of the office of Continuing and Distance Education Program of the University are to provide accessible quality tertiary Education, and to enhance the development of professionals by providing training and open learning through Distance, Weekend, Summer, and Evening Education Programs.

Objectives of the Distance Education Program (DEP)

Provides an Educational opportunity to those disadvantaged by limited time, Distance or physical disability, and update the knowledge base of workers at their places of employment.

• To produce qualified and skillful BA/BSc professionals in various disciplines.
• To contribute to National Development
• To generate income for the University
