Wollega University discern that ICT is a means to move forward the core academic ,administration , research and community service process of the university . Thus, the university was  organized the ICT development office at a director level of management in the past four years  which comprises few  ICT employees assigned on ICT support technician and system analysis and design .Director, Indeed the office directly accounted to the president of the University

The ICTDO is currently staffed by about 18 employees headed by the ICT Development Officer who reports to the president of the university. The office is currently organized into different teams as described below.
